Today I’m going to talk you through my Makeup Geek & MAC life palette.
First things first…what the heck is a life palette?
Life palettes have been floating around the world of YouTube for a while, maybe you’ve already heard of them.
A life palette is typically a collection of eyeshadows which are your every day, can’t-live-without, ride or die products. It is usually made up of single eyeshadow pans to create your perfect palette.
It will also contain enough eyeshadows to create a complete eye look. This includes:
- A skin tone matte to apply as a base over your primer
- A light satin or shimmer eyeshadow for brow bone or inner corner highlight
- A transition shade (usually matte)
- A darker shade for the crease
- A much darker shade for the outer corner and/or crease
- A matte or shimmer for the lid, depending on your preference
My life palette consists of Makeup Geek and MAC products. It’s primarily full of warm, neutral shades as this suits my skin tone really well.
