May beauty favourites are up. Let’s get straight to it…
L’Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation
I’ve seen cushion foundations pop up a lot recently in the beauty community but not many were available in the UK. However, L’Oreal have now released their very popular cushion foundation over here and I snapped it up quickly.
Pros: Beautiful dewy finish, quick & easy to apply with applicator pad, travel-friendly, fantastic price & buildable coverage.
Cons: Limited number of shades available. I have also noticed once you take the seal off the front of the lid (which has the shade number on it), you don’t know which shade it is. I’m struggling to find the shade number or a name on the packaging.
TIP: Keep the sticker with the shade number for future reference.
MAC Blush – Dainty
This has fast become one of my favourite blushes. I really like the subtle shimmer in the mineralize blush. This particular shade is a light yellow pink with gold pearl. It gives you a fresh, dewy look which is perfect for summer.
£22 from MAC. Check out my recent article, My Collection: MAC Blush, for more information.
Laura Geller Gelato Swirl Illuminator
This was featured in my Ulta Mini Haul from my visit to LA. A very popular highlighter in the beauty world. Gilded Honey is a gorgeous gold colour which looks great on most skin tones but those with a warm-toned complexion will really love this.
£21 from feelunique.
Clinique Chubby Stick
A lovely freebie from the Clinique Blogger Event. Clinique’s Chubby Stick is a “moisturizing lip colour balm” and this one is in the shade 07 Super Strawberry. It’s a beautiful pink, cranberry colour. Great for those no-makeup makeup days.
That’s it from me today. Apologies for the late post, this was supposed to be up on Sunday but I’m back on track now. See you all on Sunday!
